Plus points for my buddy from Share Likes! She introduced me to the stunning works of Portuguese graffiti / street artist Fábio Carneiro. In the current climate we just know the EU is going down because of a country like Portugal, but as long as they bring forth cool artists like Fabio we could not care less. Who would like to work anyway if you can paint in the sun!
When you flick through Fabio his portraits it is obvious he has loads of can-control and can nail a portrait precisely. What really strikes is his stunning (psychedelic) choice and use of colours, turning photorealistic portraits into surrealism. His work on paper and canvas is just as amazing, from the black and white sketches to full colour paintings. Keep your eye on this guy!
