Today we harvest our Spam! from the always humble and extraordinary artists Monsieur Qui! Monsieur Qui is an artist that shouldn't be slept on. Drawings of woman that are as beautiful as the captures that he makes of them on camera. Multi talented and often spotted on the streets of Paris we offer you Spam! with Monsieur Qui.
What were you doing the moment you received these questions?
I drew ladies and mobylettes like everyday.
Which cartoons did you used to watch as a kid, and which were your favorites?
I've never been a cartoon kid, I prefered playing outdoors in the rain...
What is your favorite gaming character ? (i.e. Sonic, Mario, Lara Croft, etc)
Sorry again! I never played these kind of games (it's true!). I hate it, I'm a really 'concrete' and boring boy (lol!).
What got you into to streetart, and what makes you keep on doing it?
Streets are the best ephemeral galleries to show my fashion's illustration work ; to diffuse glamour in city... And i have more place in the streets than in my sleeping room to work.
What was the first thing you put up on a wall?
A big "SPEO" lettering in 1989, purple, pink, with black outline, (it was my beginning in graffiti) ; but the real first thing i put on a wall was a pure stinky cheese...

Which artist would you like to work with in the future?
Oh, i can answer what i want ? Ok... So, i would like to work with Faile collective, perahps with audreykawasaki.com, and, if i have enough time with wk Interact (lol !)
Favorite city, and favorite thing about it?
I never travelled a lot, so PARIS, a very stimulating city ...
What is your favorite music/genre/artist/album
I love french punk music, dub, D'n'Bass, Soul, all energic music... It change like the weather.
What is your favorite item to take on the road with you?
Some headscarfs... and paper to draw.

I haven't experience in travel to answer... but undeniably NYC, i would like to visit...
If you could fill a swimming pool with something, what would it be?
hum... I fill with some pieces of majorettes and flourish (lol !), i have a real passion for it !

What can we expect from you in the future?
To work with Faile in a swimmig pool of majorettes... And accessoirly continue to progress in drawing (my daily struggle)
