Some artist are born to create, like Mr.Zero who has been creating art since the day he could hold a pencil. Mr.Zero is absolutely the best Hungarian street artist we know (also the only one, but just stay with me here). He has an impressive 3d style with a perfection we've only seen once or twice before. Besides this awesome style, he also has a creative approach to human-animal portraits. His work, in general, is sure to make you look twice. It's not just entertainment, these are his words, his letters and his language. Still we were bold enough to ask a couple of question, so once again, we're proud enough to present a brand new can of SPAM with Mr.Zero

What are your favorite cartoon/gaming/movie characters?
Maybe the Joker.... and everybody in the Arkham Asylum.
Where are you from, and does this has any influence on your artwork?
I'm from Hungary. I don't know, I think there are many better trained people who can give you answers for this question.:)
What was the very first thing you put on a wall?
Hmmmm.......some stick figures with crayons onto the wallpaper. I think my mother didn't liked it.
What got you into streetart, and what makes you keep on doing it?
I like to draw since the first time and I tried it on walls, I don't know why. It was fun, I want to paint my stuff everywhere. It's something like the voices in a serial-killer's head.

You've done graphic design from 2001-2005, how does this influence your artwork?
I studied it for 4 years but I'm doing it from my childhood and I'm working as a graphic designer nowadays too.
Who and what inspires you?
Everything I see, everything I hear. For example music is a great inspiration for me.
Can you tell us more about your humananimals and why you make them?
I try to show the character of the human beings and situations through animal stereotypes. The people may think they are better and smarter than animals but I think no, we are the poison of the earth cause we kill them for sport and destroy their habitats and we call it civilization......
Do you prefer to do legal or illegal stuff?
Mainly I paint legal or half-legal stuffs nowadays but when I've found a great spot I'm not thinking too much to paint there or not.
Is there any piece you are particularly proud of?
Not really. I have some favorites but I'm not really a proud person. I'm just doing my shit as anyone else.
What is your favorite item to take on the road with you?
My toothbrush.
Favorite city, and favorite thing about it?
Winterthur(Switzerland), I spent really great 3 days there on the Meeting Of Styles in 2003.
Any places you'd love to go, or any people you'd love to work with in the future?
I want to travel as many cities in as many countries I can and collaborate with anyone who wants it .
